Changing or Replacing UNIGATE® CM by UNIGATE® CX
The table below describes which points need to be observed when changing or replacing UNIGATE® CO(M)-ProfibusDP by UNIGATE® CX-C4Map-PBDPV1. In addition to the information on the hardware and software, this also contains information on the EPLAN files so that the documentation can be adapted accordingly if necessary.

Protocol | (*see note) | UNIGATE® CX-C4: UNIGATE CX-C4-FB2 contains the CAN Layer 2 protocols. The required protocol can be selected with the WINGATE configuration software. UNIGATE® CX-C4-FB2 can thus be used like the UNIGATE® CM. UNIGATE® CX-C4Map: UNIGATE® CX-C4Map-FB2 contains CANopen Mapping as well as the "Master functionality" from the UNIGATE CM.
