Device replacement
LOCON 7 was available until 31.12.2014. Depending on the version used, LOCON 7 can be replaced by a corresponding LOCON 16, LOCON 17, LOCON 24, LOCON 90, LOCON 100, LOCON 200 or ROTARNOCK 100. For all the required information regarding device replacement please check: Device replacement LOCON 7 & 9.
Option T - Timer/Program controller (encoder simulation)
With option T, an incremental encoder with a resolution of 1024 increments is simulated. The resolution cannot be changed. The speed is adjustable. From 1ms (fast) to 65535ms (slow).
The time base can be set e.g. via the TERM 6 as follows:
Button - (long) press; confirm with the Enter key (long). The LEDs Prog-Mode and Function on the TERM 6 flash. Change the time base with the + or - button (1-65535) and confirm with the Enter button.
To start the simulated incremental encoder, the "SelectZaehl" (pin 1) and "Clear -" (pin 2) signals must be connected to +24V. If the "Clear -" signal is connected to GND (or the +24V connection is interrupted), the count is set to "0".
