Change to firmware with extended config area

With firmware version 7.8.2 we have completed the change to an extended config area of 256 Byte. We have paid attention to a maximal comptability to previous firmware versions. Put please note for an update of a firmware version smaller than V7.8.2 to Version 7.8.2 or higher:

NOTE: The configuration storage size has changed. Please refer to the manual and the online documentation for further details.

If then the device configuration should be changed by WINGATE, then please note the following: The actual script loaded into the device has to be available. Before amending parameters of the device configuration you have to save the actual configuration. After that Reset device has to be carried out.The script is deleted then and has to be reloaded. Now the previously saved configuration can be reloaded and changed.
